So just the other day I was in my driveway getting ready to pull out and put my truck in first gear and start letting out the clutch and started moving and all the sudden just stopped it didn’t stall I quickly put the clutch back in and put it in 1st and went along fine then happened in a drive thru then parking lot its not a grinding noise at all sounded like brakes really bad breaks scraping but I never had the foot on the brakes don’t know what’s going on really scared what damage it might be and I’m still under warranty hasn’t been a year but got 11500k miles on it hoping Toyota doesn’t do a BS call saying my exhaust or lift or new grill has anything to do with it

Wheel spin? On a 3rd gen? Come on, everyone knows that can’t happen!

OP are you currently getting some symptom or problem, or was that a one time thing? I'm not clear on what's going on.

How long have you had the lift? Could be the parking brake cable is too tight.

Its gotta be the grille then.

Seriously though, is there anything you can do to make it happen or is it just random? Also, if you could get a video of the noise or close in if its the front or back that would help.

Lift details? Damaged speed sensor/wire can cause traction control to do strange things.
