I think 90% of it will come down to how good the blade is but the last little 10% might be the body size

Hopefully I never have to resort to cutting them again. Not fun at all.

My main eyes came out after lots of persuasion, but the damn control arm things, the sleeve and the bolt are hardened so cutting takes an eternity

I cracked my main eye nuts loose, but that bolt wasnt going anywhere. Sawzall with a carbide blade took care of it. I didnt do my UCA's, but the hardened stuff we mess with at work gets an abrasive wheel or the torch.

I think I figured out why my Cig lighter socket wont work. Rust. Looks like the PO left something plugged in for a long time, the contact at the back is real crusty. Ifirc, those things are a pita to remove from the dash trim too.

There's also a little baby fusable link in the back of the socket itself on the backside. Sometimes they die, you can just bypass it with some wire and solder had to do it after I blew up the one on my green truck

I might just get a blue sea one off Amazon. I dunno, not really concerned with it right now. I just need one for my gps on my trip. I have a usb socket in place of one of the bottom two plugs for my dash cam.

I wonder if I could start a 3 week convo about rusty 12 volt plugs?...

Anybody want a battery cage? Turns out it doesn't clear the coolant reservoir as well as I thought it did...started rubbing the plastic off. Had to take it out before it rubbed a hole in the reservoir. Gonna have to get a smaller one.

Guess I shouldn't offer it to anyone on here since we all drive the same trucks...maybe try and sell it on the 2nd/3rd gen b/s/t
