Made some meatballs for subs last night. Heavy handed with the egg, breadcrumb, and cheese mix to ensure moistness. Turned out great!

I havent had chicken Marsala before the other day, It was decent but my question is it supposed to be sweet tasting? I was good but I didnt care for the sweet taste. My wife tried a little I had left and she liked it.

Yes Marsala wine is very sweet. I'm not a big fan of Chicken Marsala, I'll go Chicken Parm any day. :)

ah ok...then it was a decent meal. I would have liked it with just regular cooking wine. I almost got the Chicken parm...now I know ;)

Ya, I've had it a few times and the best one was pretty good but the sweet part just doesn't do it for me. I want my dinner savory, save the sweet for tiramisu. :)

Same here. First bite I was like ok this is good but something is off...then I got the sweet flavor. I do like sweet bbq sauce/pulled pork/chicken but thats different. Just wasnt expecting to be sweet so thats why I was a little confused.

Agreed that stuff is a different kind of sweet and it’s cut my the smoke and such. Marsala is a whole different game.

There are sweet Marsala wines and unsweet ones. And lots in between. Mine is not that sweet.

Just tried monk fruit sweetener for the first time. Thought about rinsing my mouth out with gasoline. Amount I used was about the size of a pea to half gallon of black tea.
My goodness... First, the smell says its off. Then the taste test came and the sink was almost too far away for me to get it out ofg my mouth. The aftertaste, I seriously considered gasoline to rinse. Opted for MT Dew, but that crap is still lingering.....

While smoking ribs, I smoked some onion and mushrooms. Cut in pieces and saute until carmelized. Add green beans and grape tomatoes. Garlic pepper seasoning.
