I am getting crazy chattering when turning left now.... I even stayed away from Synthetic like everyone said to on here, I used Dino Lucas 80-90 weight.. with 4oz of LSD additive! Seriously... I just spent $30 on that shit and getting chatter now? Then what oil do I use? Please suggestions

I've read on here that the stuff from the dealer is your best bet. Stick to what came with it from the factory. The LSD additive is not good enough.

I'm like this with almost everything on my Toyotas. Even the oil filters I get come from Toyota.

Add a little more addative, and see how that does.

Yeah I was thinking I will try that before dropping another $30-$40 on gear oil hel by that time might as well had the dealer change it

After reading some rear diff threads on here, I think this is a good idea especially in your situation.

I read some people with amsoil or royal purple, but some said it worked some said it didn't. But I found alot said adding more additive helped alot....

You can,. but in the Toyota LS diff, it seems to require more in some cases.

the friction modifier increase the "splipping" action as more is added... its common in drift cars to tune the "grab point" by adding small amounts at a time and test driving in between.

It works as long as you use proper amount of proper Additive. (for diffs with Limited Slipp Differentials)
I am running Mobil Delvac 75-90 with almost two bottles of GM LSD additive (almost 3000 miles on this). I have no chatter nothing. LSD still works.
My guess its because we have 8 clutch plates VS other LSD's with 4 or something silly like that. So What Toyota apparently does. They pour premixed Oil, then on top add extra bottle of additive.

JasonJump - what additive did you used ? pic.? There are different additives but you need one specific for clutch pack Limited Slipps. You sure you got right one? Also how big the bottle was. Some come as 7oz because you need more of it for Differential.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Synthetic is fine in the rear diff. It just doesn't seem to do well in the LSD diff's.

I might not have put the right type in, I used "Champion Limited Slip Differential" "Axle Additive Concentrate" then it has 4285V
this is the link from O'reily's
    http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...&mn=Champion+Brands&mc=CMB&pt=N0420&ppt=C0139

So please let me know what kind I need, and should I not be driving it since its doing this? Thanks

The Gm or MOPAR addatives work good. You can drive it, but it will be anoying.

SInce I already put 4oz of what is most likely the wrong stuff, would it be safe to put 7 more oz's of the right stuff?

I wouldnt put 7 ozs. in. Start with about 3, and work up. Add 3, go for a short drive, and take some turns. See if that works first.

No, I wwould just add a few more ounces and test drive it. If that doesn't work, then I would drain and refill (new) and use a different additive.
