If you're ever in Orem take your truck to Lubedoc. Them and Geoff Beers are the only ones allowed to touch my truck. Lubedoc does a great job and they'll grease all the grease points including the driveshaft u joints.

I'm gonna say no. At least not for more than it takes to load something in the truck.

People in the moto thread have bent a few tailgates from the back tire riding on the gate for long trips.

Lube Doc is the shit. I take my truck to them if I am in need of one and I happen to be down there.

I have a driveway of my own now too, so if anyone in the Sandy area needs space for one, hit me up.

    Not much stock left.
Damn it! I may have to test it, or figure out how to take it off.

Taking it off is easy. Drop tailgate. undo cables. Lift up and twist counter clockwise to get the right hand tailgate peg out of the notch.

This. It takes about 30 seconds, even with the camera wiring to unplug

They do great work, but it's more that I don't trust the other dealers around. Geoff Beers has done a lot on my trucks over the years and is the way to go if you're open to the non-dealer route.

That's awesome. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm always nervous working with dealers. Especially if I start doing some semi-serious mods

I haven't had any service issues at Karl Malone Toyota. Scratch that, they did break my locker last december....while they were trying to repleace the gasket in my rear diff. Other than that, going there for oils changes I haven't had any issues lol.

Anyone Interested in a 40" Baja Designs Stealth Light Bar? Ill take some pics after I clean it up. Its rated for 50,000 hours of life and it should have nearly close to that left. They no longer make it as they replaced it with the "S8" series. No moisture issues, Has three modes, Low, high, and Strobe. New this thing was around $1000. I can let it go for around $500 or so. I want to switch up my lighting situation.

I've been to the three SL valley dealers for warranty / covered services, and I've watched feedback from other Toyota owners over the years. Basically if Toyota is covering it, go downtown. If you're footing the bill, go to Geoff Beers. He used be the tech at Karl Malone doing all the heavy stuff like frame replacements, and "graduated" from there a few years ago.

I second Geoff Beers. I brought him my drive shaft a couple weeks ago to replace my carrier bearing. I couldn't get it apart. He even had trouble, but used a variety of tools to get it done. I also had him replace my U-joints since he has a decent sized press.

I saw that in the paper! Sounded like service will just be around the main road UP to Tibblefork. We'll see how it turns out.

Anyone got an opinion on Tony Davino in Ogden? I’ve had a good experience with them but I’ve just had my routine maintenance done so not much to critic them on?

I've heard lots of good things about them. Haven't used them personally for anything though.

My dad works a lot with Tony Davino, and he's gone through close to 100 cars. My brother bought his tacoma and highlander from them as well with no complaints.
