I'm pretty partial to dark gunmetal.

No lift. One tire size up from stock. I believe they are 265/70/17. I will be leveling it at some point, but for now that picture is a stock suspension.

Very nice! When you get time could you post a pic front front angle that shows the tire poke? It's kinda hard to find a pic of that angle. These stick out a bit further than the 16" taco trds right?

I'm going to have to disagree with your "recent evolutionary development" regarding black wheels.

Black wheels were a dormant gene brought about recently by the TRD 4 Runner's aggressive bold traits, it was simply inherited thru cross mutation.

The black wheel gene was a predominant OEM option back in the 70s, and was factory equipment offered in the popular mid 70s Dodge Power Wagon "Macho" trim package.

The black wheel gene exhibited a boss like attitude in the old Power Wagons just like they do in today's Tacomas and 4Rs:

Those are the coolest thing Dodge has ever made.

Brings back memories, they were very popular. The 440cu engine was a beast, though gas hog too.

Should've stated in the late 70s and 80s they were very popular. I have not seen one in a long time.

Sorry for the shadows of the covered parking, but you can see a slight poke.

I went with the Baja Design Pro's for the fog lights... not SAE legal, but damn, they are bright.

I love these wheels with cement! I've only seen them online until over the weekend. One caught my eye as I drove by and about rubbernecked right off the road. Kinda wished I turned around and got a better look. Are these available as gunmetal and matte grey? I've seen a few on eBay and Amazon. The last letters are GR on the Toyota pn. Is this the same as gunmetal or different wheel?

Venomrex in coal black, then painted the logo smoke gray to bring some color in and make them less of a black hole. Color is indistinguishable from the stock, especially with that much separation.
