There you go! Thanks for posting that.

Also, agree to disagree on the PM thing, I suppose. Might have been different if you had actually PM'd me any info. Instead, you pretty much told me to kick rocks even after asking to be PM'd for info.

I blasted up to Bend, OR to ride a bike. 35 miles of flogasms. The GFC has made it easier than ever to be a weekend warrior - this marked 4 weekends in a row of getting out of town and staying in the camper.

Been a hell of a summer!

You just made me incredibly jealous! Sounds like a great trip. I should dust off my Mtb and get back into riding!

I guess we different ethical standards when it comes to PM. They're supposed to be private, aren't they?
I've done a fair amount of PMs and you're the first to refer to one on the public forum.

Ethical like saying 'I know' then hiding from everyone?

Theres an assumption that it's private in the sense that it's not posted publicly when initiated, however there's nothing to restrict someone from sharing what was said in a conversation.

I'm guessing it could have stayed private, but since you advocated that you 'knew', invited PMs, then ghosted everyone on your apparent answer, frustrations grew and someone spoke up when people kept asking because you were silent. You reap what you sow

Is it against the Terms of Service to reveal private conversations without consent on the public forum?
Yes, I'm sorry that I invited PMs. That's the last time I do it, for sure. I got flooded with responses and lost patience trying to keep up.
I did develop a stock answer. I also want GFC to succeed and try to minimize hanging dirty laundry in public. However, since this is Tacoma World, anything goes.
Also I did post a response in the GFC Mods, etc. forum but some are unaware of it or overlooked it or ?
So if you send a PM and the recipient posts it publicly, you think that's perfectly OK?

I did a loop in Wanoga (Tiddly Winks, Tylers, etc.) and then rode over to Phil's to check out the goods (Whoops, Grandslam, Voodoo). Big day for me. Recovered with a float down the Tumalo!

Oakridge is very much on my to-do list in the coming months. I will have to read up on Peterson Ridge.

Camping near Bend was so easy. There is so much good riding from Ashland up to Seattle it makes me wish I lived closer. If only I could bring my job with me.

Just re-read the TW terms of service, and that is not included. The issue is that you falsely claim to know information regarding a serious issue facing GFC customers on a public forum, then provide zero information when publicly asked what the information is. If you posted on another thread, you also can't expect someone to go dig up your other posts when you made the claim of information in this thread. Either deliver on your claims of information or STFU IMO

No I won't STFU. Yes, I did publish the information. If it's serious issue why can't the customer search the recent posts. After all there's only two GFC threads to search. If the customer is so serious it would seem due diligence to keep up on the threads. Is that expecting too much?
Yes, it's easy for you to tell me STFU from a distance shielded by the forum.

Honestly man, I am sorry. I really wasn't trying to stir up drama or start anything. I was just looking for information and couldn't find it. I realize that I probably took stuff a bit far, so that is my bad.

I was wondering when we would start to see this failure. It doesn't look like a fun fix.

    Lol

Says the guy with no avatar, no name, no city location and only responds with generic info regurgitated from the gfc marketing posts.

Who’s really shielded by the forum?

Yes, that is expecting too much when YOU'RE the one claiming to have the information in THIS THREAD. Just answer the question related to your claim in the first place and shit like this doesn't happen..."put up or shut up"

I live in a small town so it would be easy to find me if I made that public. If the guy told me to STFU wants to say that to me in person, we can make arrangements. Just because you say you're from a certain large city means nothing. Avatars mean nothing.
Concerning regurgitating GFC marketing material that's total BS.
Do a search of my previous posts and you will find many criticisms of various aspects of the construction of my camper. I also received many posts attacking me for this. In particular my posts concerning the difficulty closing the tent on my XL sized unit. I got totally blasted my various GFC fanboys. However, if you notice, they have changed the tent fabric and changed the mattress from 3" to 2" in order for it to close more easily. The change in the material may also be attributed over condensation issues.

I'm not going to waste money to travel to a small town in Washington to tell you to STFU when my point is well-proven here on why you should. Or, if you'd like it with some sugar coating instead, justify yourself or remain silent. Does that feel better?

Will this shut you up since you're too lazy to read the other thread, lol? You're all mouth.
I also have the pinholes and more. These small holes, over time, will result in the fabric failing in this area. I think that the zippers should have a double layer of cloth backing because they're a stress point. There should also be stitching and they need to find a better glue. I mention the glue because the fabric disks that support the forward bungee are coming loose to the degree that I don't use the bungee anymore. There needs to be more layers of cloth backing the disks because it's a another stress point.

Going to be nice when GFC has their own forum they can moderate.

Probably wasn’t the best idea to say “I know why” but rajacat9 has been one of the best contributors to these GFC threads over the last year so let’s give him a break.
