Obviously, diplomacy and polite conversation are not your strong points.

This isn't a geopolitical discussion at the UN, and answering a simple question isn't your strong suit. All of this frustration could have been avoided by you simply responding to that first question about what you knew with this quote:
Literally would never have turned into anything.

Also, if you think I'm all talk and want to come pay me a visit, just ask the mods or some IT guru where I live. I'll even bake a cake.

Edit: I'm done with this clown. I made my point and he finally answered the simple question. Resume regularly programming. My PM's are always available for future usage.

:facepalm:Can we get this thread back on track?

Heading out for 10 days of camping, wheeling, and fishing later this week and wanted to get a few more things tidied up. Made a super custom cargo net and added some more LED strip to my GFC yesterday.

    IMG_20190728_194647.jpg

My GFC is around #20 or so and over a year old at this point. No issues with the tent or hinges, but I am keeping an eye on them.

And a pic or two from the last trip just because.

It got you to post what "you knew" didn't it? Any further concerns can be directed to my PMs so as to not clutter this page anymore.

I just got back from 4,000 miles and 17 nights of camping in the GFC. Everything worked great and it was super comfortable. The new fan and lights that I added came in handy.

Were planning on the same route (Canada and Alaska part) next month too. Had planned on taking a GFC but their delays have kaiboshed that. Buying a RTT instead. Maybe you’ll be the first GFC at the Arctic Ocean.

I made it as far north as you can on Alaskan roads (Deadhorse) last June but figured I might as well do the same in Canada while it’s still an easy long weekend trip. I’m not sure if anyone else with a GFC has done that route yet but I know I was the first to cross the Arctic Circle at least.

Would be interesting to know if GFC will redesign their hinge based on the failures we’ve seen here. I’d be willing to push my camper back on the leaderboard if they are considering this.

It’s really not a bad fix, but I was around home when it happened. It would really ruin a trip if it happened on the road
