That's a good idea OP, but having someone to do so is the hard part. Perhaps a junk yard is another good option as well and le$$ money. Keep us posted and good luck!

Yeah, I still use it, my job is like 95% travel and everything has been fine so far, except the window won't go down.

Temp working fix: remove yellow wire M6 connector. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nitoris-oem-sr-foglight-mod.451495/
Read and follow the removal/separation of connector.
Wrap removed terminal with stripped small gauge wire. Cover with electric tape. Get add a fuse. Get a 2 amp fuse. Select your choice ACC fuse to tap. Other end of small gauge wire to add-a-fuse. Place in fuse panel.

ALL THIS DONE WITH NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL REMOVED.
Replace battery terminal n verify function.

I appreciate the help and Info, but that's too much, I travel 90% of my week and don't have time to do this, I'd rather just replace the bad part and and get my truck back to working order.

Sorry, not trying to resurrect a dead threat, but I just got a new BCM and windows are working again!

Also popped open the old BCM just to look and I can't find one spot where it looks like it shorted or anything.
