Buying new in SoCal

I had some good luck working with the internet sales manager over at Tustin Toyota. The process was smooth and they got me a great deal on my TRD OR 4x4

Yup exactly what I wanted! OR DCLB 4x4. It was ~35k, and I decided to lease.

 

I'm guessing with 2020 models coming soon, dealers would be hustling to get 2019 sold over labor day weekend... Is anyone getting better than $1000 under invoice on TRD OR 4x4 DCLB?

 

a friend picked one up last week. got a decent deal, nothing spectacular... they just sell so well there's not much to negotiate

 

I had to travel to Dublin, CA in order to save any money. The dealers around me would only give me a little off the window sticker.

Not too aggressive with the Pro pricing. 5k “market adjustment” and that doesn’t even include a nice dinner, flowers or a bottle of lube. Just saying. That’s probably why they don’t move very fast though.

 

That would be a 6k market adjustment

 

When I was first shopping for a Pro Escondido was my first stop. The 5k adjustment at the time was a bit off putting so I went and found a dealer that didn’t do the market adjustment. At that time escondido didn’t have any pros. The last time I drove by to check out voodoo blue there were 12 pros on the lot. Maybe the 1k hike in price slowed the pros down a bit? Not sure how to claim a market adjustment with so many pros on the lot, but in all fairness to esco toyota I think all but 2 dealers in San Diego county are doing that much if not more. California is a strange place.
