Yeah aside from that though Im liking the feel of this wheel. Ive even been tossing the idea of sending my shift knobs/console lid to @Lugnut22 to get them upholstered in black leather to match. Dunno if he does 1st gen stuff though. :boink:

Pretty easy to do yourself. Just move the tie rods an equal amount until your wheel is center. I kind of like a lean just because it's more comfortable with resting my left arm and where my hand sits on the wheel.

Best advice or write ups on the GM alternator. What exactly do I need to do or buy? I've seen @Blackdawg do one with a different belt, one says you dont need a belt, one has a relay one doesn't etc. Can anybody help me out there? Also the other prong on that alternator fuse wont come out. Sny advice there? TIA

Can't route that through the stock box you'll melt shit.

Just wire to the battery and then battery to fuse box

7B1967FE-0D41-4DBA-BED4-5FC64F47E579.jpg Need some wiring advice. I need to wire this methanol controller to a 12V ignition source. I’m thinking of tapping it into the 7th injector, which is tapped into the ECU power.

I also had to wire the pump directly to the battery and I also need to connect the controller directly to the battery as well. I’m just going to tap that into the power wire from the pump.

    This sound okay to do?

At some point i think I’m going to add in the URD AFR controller. And I’ll have to tap that into ignition as well. How much shit can I tap into the ECU power before I burn something up??

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I usually have to take mine back after alignment to get the wheel centered. They seem to forget to do it.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I have no problems with end links or sway bar. Because the sway bar is in the garbage.

I had mine off for a while. Three weeks ago a coworkers son was in a car accident and is paralyzed now. I decided to put it back on after that.

A lot of people here act like the only way to drive these trucks is sans sway bar. Im not running 600lb springs to serve the same purpose, therefore mine stays on. Take one curve too fast and all the money youve spent building your truck is for nothing. Or you're dead. Guess its up to who evers driving it to decide. :notsure:

Not much. Only a 7.5 amp fuse stock I think

Id skip the URD shit anyways and get rid of the 7th injector especially if you're doing meth. Get an AEM FIC6 and run a slightly larger injector like an NA 7mgte injector. You'll get a better tune and be easier to tune.

But it rides so much better without it, comparing my 99 to the 02 anyway.

There could be a lot of other stuff at play there too. Bushings/joints in better condition etc. I like how my truck rides. Everything feels tight.

I’m gonna say the 02’s in better condition, just going off of what I know about the 99.

The 02 to does feel tighter with turns and such but I can feel every little bump in the road, which is fine, I’m not picky at all.

I know. Should have done that from the beginning. But I’ve gotta stop for a while and save some cash. The only reason I did the meth now is it hot as hell and Devils Own ran a 20% off.

BTW Devils Own runs a 50% off during SEMA. check their Facebook. I wish I knew that before I got mine. That’s dirt cheap. Even if their controller, wiring, and fittings are garbage (they are) that’s a great deal.

Anyway, I’m holding out for the OVtune 03-04 ECU flash. I don’t think anyone who has contacted Mathew has gotten anything yet but the ability to tune the ECU would be better than all that shit. and a portable programmer would be great too.

Dude at work has a single cab Ram N/A with bolt ons and a tuner. Says he’s pushing 500HP. As much as I love these trucks I’d really like something like that. Much bigger performance market and easier to deal with.
