What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I don’t understand it so, I like it!

 

It had nothing to do with lights, the clicker was bad. Doesn’t work at all in colder weather and iffy any other time. I got sick of using the keypad so I bit the bullet on this. At least it works 100% of the time & no more getting back out of my truck because my clicker won’t work.

 

Got ya. Lots of people do the mirror because of signal issues. I was actually pretty surprised it was that simple in my case.

 

Finally got the skid plate on!

 

Installed a ARB Linx and a ARB dual comp a week or so ago. So far so good.

 

I just called and ordered the ARB Summit rear bumper, it will be delivered by this Wednesday or Thursday. That's a lot quicker than the wait I had for the front bumper, rails, and steps! I'm pretty excited. I'll post some pictures after I throw it on.

Did a little something before heading in for work. Finally got time to install these babies. They're not sliders but let's be realistic, this 2WD is not doing any serious off road stuff. More for the kids to get in, out of truck and a little door ding protection. Just wanted to get rid of a little more chrome as well. They are oedro 6 inch side steps, for a little over $200 they are great quality. Though directions should just be thrown in the trash cause they are useless, but not to bad to figure out.

Wow, dude. Is 21.4 mpg within normal range for you for the '18 TRD OR? Don't think I've bested about 18.0 in the couple of months I've owned her. Even driving pure highway miles.

 

I avg around 20-21. 14 miles to and from work. mix of highway and slow traffic.

I was on a road trip, about 300 miles, by the end of the trip I was sitting at 23.6 mpg

 

I get 12mpg

 

Wow. I get 23 plus on road trips. Can get 18 in town if I baby it but usually 16'ish in town. Picture is from road trip to Atlantic Beach NC last summer.

 

I have seen around 23-24 mpg, but it's never on the highway. It's doing about 50 with no traffic and enjoying the scenery. Highway doing 80 my mpg drops to around your 18. Both cases hilly new england driving.
