They’re probably leases so reliability isn’t a big factor. I know here the city has every brand known to man to avoid allegations of favouritism or any sort of controversy around fleet vehicles. Could be it’s the local Toyota dealers turn to sell some trucks.

Good points all around. I can't imagine the mindset of someone who gets butthurt about the city exclusively leasing a certain brand of vehicle and not spreading the love around. Must be a hard life.

 

Probably some CEO or dude under him which just sit on their ass barking orders and armchair quarterback as their minions slave away doing all the backbreaking work all day.

 

Btw my truck is at Krave Auto for a regear and front locker. Should bring back a lot of pep. I’m going 4.56s on 34s.

Driving through cali close to sea level a few weeks ago as I was on my way to Tahoe for the rubicon. I forget where we stopped for fuel but it had a super short on-ramp to re enter the fwy and I stepped on the gas, fully loaded with probably close to 800lbs of gear. The truck boogied being at sea level compared to my usual 7k ft and my fiancé just looks at me all pissed off. She says my truck is not that fast at home so she doesn’t want a s/c for her 4Runner if she won’t be able to use all the power since we live at elevation.

 

Story of my life. Daily drive between 5 and 8k feet and sometimes I wonder why I have a blower. Went to Cali once in the truck and was in heaven.

 

I'm very pleased with this tensioner. Regardless of pulley size I'd reccomend it. I realize what casting flaws are. But when they transfer on more than one side of something I see it as a place to bust. Glad this isn't in action any longer.

 

Did you get the Roush?

 

Yes. Thought it was a placebo effect of improvement but it's not. Truck puts more power to the ground.

 

Too be fair when I wheel I get to watch Jeeps and stock Toyota's power out on tough climbs above 6k feet while my Tacoma just purs.

I really like living at sea level. Only thing I like about the cold months is the best boost conditions.
