I drove my pickup to DC Shock Service in San Dimas to rebuild a leaky front. Did that and and inspected the rest of the suspension in about 5 hrs.

Running a stage 4 with billet aluminum UCAs. Stepping up to 35s in a few months and adding 700lb coils. Anyone got advice of anything else I gotta do to make some bigger shoes fit?

I think CMC is pretty much a given with 35s

Swapping 5100's for the Icon extended travel Coilover and 2.0 RR shocks. already have SPC UCA's and Dakar leafs. It seems pretty straightforward swap to me ( though I am sure I will need to get the truck aligned again after) Any special tips or things I need to watch out for? TIA

Reviving the thread! I've got the Icon stage 4 with JBA arms. Loving this setup on road. I'm sure it will perform off road. Tires are 285/70r17 Grabber X3. I am adjust to 2" driver 2.2 passenger. Have a slight lean but I can't notice it unless I have my tape measure out. Highly recommend this set up.

I see some people on here complaining about the on-road ride being really stiff with this setup. I just ordered the Stage 4 kit, so I hope I won't be disappointed. What's your 2 cents?

    Truck looks great, btw.

Well, I have only ran this setup and the stock setup with spacers on this truck.

It is very comparable to the sport suspension in stiffness. It's not too stiff to me, it is perfect. It is digressive, but were talking about modern suspension technology here, it still rides fantastic. Blows my mind. I also love speeding up on old tore up roads and it just SOAKS IT UP.

Honestly, I worried about the same exact thing, and I have no complaints at all! I'm also adjusted to max lift on a Tacoma at Icons recommended 2.1" of threads on the included 650# spring.

    Does that help?

I looked up a stage 4 kit on (rogueoffroad, toytec, headstrong) any of those are great vendors.

I personally bought every part (by part number) off of Amazon, this was because of cost of shipping to an APO address from the above mentioned vendors, and also because I didn't want to use Icon upper control arms, I wanted JBA control arms.

I am ordering my Stage 4 tomorrow but instead of AAL I am going RXT leaf. If you have it, I would love to see a before and after shot. Even if it's a different tire. I am curious how different it will look.

    Thanks!

I got my stage 4 $2830 shipped from bilsteinlifts.com and use promo code MIKEC1. That promo is good for 10% off any ICON product.

I had great service and was happy with @HeadStrong Off-Road Plus they support the Forum. I paid about $3110 but I also upgraded the AAL to the RXT leaf instead. I live close so don’t take this as the rule but my stuff was to my house within 2 days of ordering.

I am waiting on the Leafs but they will be here on Tuesday.
