Goddamnit. I should've put the battery on the other side to counteract the taco lean.

Anyone know of any good places to go dirt bike riding off of hwy 2? I don’t think I’m aloud on green dot roads. And I think I’ve ridden everything there is at Reiters pit.

    Are floor mats a mod?

How’s the interior! I had one new in 1987 was a blast but traded it for CRX next year.

I originally wanted a SW20. But man everyone thinks they are worth way to much or they are beat to shit. The more we looked the more we actually both ended up liking the AW11's better. If I'd wanted to make more power though the SW20 is the way to go. Stupid easy to up them to 250+ and not to much harder to hit 300+.

We lucked out and this one was the supercharged version too (and an original SC at that)

Interior is in good shape for the age. The original owner redid the seats for some unknown reason to a leather. Which is still in great shape and looks nice. Carpet is nice and clean. Especially for having ~220k on the chassis.

Fuck the DOL and their appraisal method/equation. $4000 for a 28yr old car with 250k miles and doesn't run. Well didn't run at the time I took possession of it.:annoyed::infantry:

The DOL should be required to make an instant cash payment for whatever bullshit value they come up with. When I bought my Ducati years ago and went to register it and pay the Use Tax, they said it was worth $5,000 more than I paid for it. Clearly it is only worth what someone is willing to pay, but they "have their book of values".....

And people wonder why government funded projects cost x amount to begin with and usually exceed estimated cost. I'd sell the DOL everything I own for the price they say it's worth.

The bill of sale and title transfer says $0.00/gift but I forgot you can't gift it twice in a row, unless 7yrs has passed, then they assume use tax has been paid

I went down the street to the bar where the registered owner works had a free beer and a shot while she wrote another BoS stating the repairs needed and estimated cost along with what she valued it at. The licensing office doesn't do title work after 4:30pm so tomorrow I try again.

Wrapped up the timing belt, water pump, front main and cam seals yesterday, I'll get to the starter hopefully tonight. If anyone is curious about the 1uzfe, take my advice and pull the damn motor if youre getting balls deep into it. Its way easier to work on and your knuckles and top of your hands will thank you. Now if I will head my own advice in another 100k, if I have it that long. Looking like a Lexus abortion clinic in my driveway right now.

Ive never had an issue just bringing this form along with me and having it filled out and signed. Especially when you just get detailed. needs a new starter...sure. But also needs new intake gaskets, spark plugs, fluid changes, ect.
    https://dor.wa.gov/legacy/Docs/forms/Misc/DeclarBuyerSllrRcValueUsedVehSold_E.pdf

But i ran into the same thing when i transferred the FJ40 title. Value was like 28k. Was like...yeah ill be back with the form since it was worth all of 1k when i bought it.

I've haven't bought or transfered anything since my Tacoma and the $3k difference I paid/was reported on the BoS vs what they valued it at wasn't enough for them to scoff about. On top of that I also did the sellers homework and reported the sale for her then found out the DOL charges you to sell your vehicle!!! $13 and some change to file a sellers report. :censored: crooks. They tax you every step of the way and once more when you're dead. :bananadead::censored:
