How do you like that topper? Anything you would have done different? I’m assuming you custom ordered

Spec Ops. My son in law's brother in law is a Lifer Master Sgt. in a spec ops unit. He use to be Army, but SIL says he doesn't know what he is now, something above the purview of Army spec ops, can't and won't say what. A couple of weeks ago he gets a call. It's his BIL. Says he is in the woods near his house. Wants a burger. Tells him to drive down a certain farm to market road, that he'll call him when he passes him. Sure enough, he calls him, SIL turns around and idles down the shoulder, and out of the woods ghost's his BIL, full spec ops kit, face camo, gun and all, dirty and stinks to high heaven. Gets in the truck, says to go to Dairy Queen in Kountze. Had already called in his order. Get's there, pays and they drive off with four bags full of burgers. SIL asks how many burgers in bags. BIL won't even tell him that! Drops him off same place, he ghosts back into the Big Thicket wall of green. All he would tell him is that they were on an "infil" out of Fort Polk where he is currently stationed. That's over a 100 miles. SIL says he doesn't know how many there were in those woods, but they had moved overland to outside Kountze, no ride, infiltrated without being noticed. SIL said he told him years ago that they pick out a building somewhere, anywhere, and they move off the base and "move" on it. And that they do this kind of thing all the time to stay sharp. Second time I have heard this. My fishing buddy was lost in the river bottoms of the Neches river back in the 60's and a whole squad just appeared out of the woods and showed him his way back to his car. They said they had been watching him while he squirrel hunted. Thompson subs and all. He thinks they could have been militia, not military.

Love it so far.. only had it on 2 or so weeks. I probably would have added the lighting option if I did it again.. I have most all other options though.

I met the guy at my daughter's wedding in May. Not a big guy like you'd expect a spec ops guy to be. Not even muscled up much either. But definitely pulls it off. Whatever he lacks in shear strength he must make up for in skill sets to be able to get off the porch and run with the big dawgs. Silent type, not a conversationalist, kinda' shy. Didn't say much. Only talked when talked to, and then only one sentence, no attempt to strike up a conversation. Quiet confidence though. You could tell he could get the job done. Obviously a fish out of water when not in theatre. Definitely the exact type of person I want out there guarding my freedom.

That’s awesome. I’ve had the privilege to rub shoulders with a number of SEAL’s and SF guys. Silent professionals

Well, I'm back in a Tacoma and am thrilled about it. I traded my '18 F150 with 18k miles, for this '19 black Off Road short bed. It had 5500 miles and was loaded...Prem pkg, black leather, moonroof, jbl etc... It was sitting on a Ford dealer's lot so that played in to my deal. I traded for the doc fee and title/plate transfer...$350 OTD! I couldn't pass it up. It booked for quite a bit more than my Ford. I KNEW when I bought it that I could not live with that short bed and swore off black vehicles years ago as I live out in a very rural area and it's impossible to keep clean. SO have been on the search for either a new white, q/sand, silver or cement long bed. I had the black truck 6 days. Today, I traded for this new Cement '19 Off Road for $750 OTD! It lacks the Prem pkg that the black one had, but has the tech pkg, tube steps and all weather mats. PLUS it's new! I think I did good. LOVING this Cement color!

It's amazing the pic of my double cab and MtnFisher's access cab....the difference in color is weird! Cement can look so different based on the time of day, sun/shade, etc... Our 2 trucks don't look like the same color at all !

    Super sharp rig!

What cap is that? I play drums in a band and that will be my next purchase. Searching hard this evening for a used one but coming up short. My local body shop will paint one to match for $300.
