Grew up with George Jones' sons. He use to sit in the stands and watch them play little league ball, just like all the rest of our parents there, no biggie. He was just one of the people when he was home, no commotion about him being in town. There will not be another voice like his again. My mom babysat Johnny Winter.

I attended the same high school, with a couple years overlap, of David Lombardo, the original drummer from Slayer. In summers, during football season, on Fridays when we would have "Spirit Day" and pep rallies before the football games later that night, we would also have various local entertainment. Including bands which any of the students were members of. My 1984 Class Yearbook has a double page layout of Slayer playing at one of these lunch time pep rallies. This was obviously before they cut their first album and became well known. I didn't actually know him personally, never spoke with him or hung out, but for one year, Dave was a drummer in the high school marching band, and I played saxophone.

my grandfather was a Lt.Col and good friends with Nixon during his presidency and also worked at MGM after his service. He left us tons of signed pics from all the stars back then from Elvis, to Lucille Ball and Crazy Legs Hirsch and everyone in between.
as for me, I was a regular extra on network shit show "North Shore" and also introduced the old sports show 54321 a few times during my competitive surf days. was also on the local news for surfing. oh, and my dads got a picture of Muhammad Ali holding me when I was a baby. Year was 1982 I believe.

Worked in broadcasting for 15 years so met and talked with a bunch of well known people.

    my conclusions.

    1. They are good normal people and dont get the fuss

    Or

2 they are insecure and want the attention and adoration to make themself feel good

    And

    3. Some are just arrogant pricks who think they are better than everyone else.

I have been listed in the credits of televised WoO sprint car race before, and have been on the front page of the Houston Chronicle for some work I did for a little celebration in July one year if anyone counts that as 15 minutes of fame

I live in the Himalayan Mountains and am actually only on the internet to prove to the rest of my clan that human beings actually exist. All I can ever seem to find are footprints and empty beer cans. I think I have some cousins on other continents but I haven't seen any of them since "The Tectonic Split Age". BTW, Elvis says "HEY Everybody!" Hey, the next time one of you decides to leave some footprints around could you drop off some shampoo and conditioner??? Pine sap and snow just isn't getting it done anymore....

I am not famous but I once pumped gas for Chevy Chase - I thought he looked familiar and sure enough when he handed me his credit card it said Chevy Chase.

I also ran into Jerry Rice at an outing.

Finally, my brother in law lived in a condo in Malibu and was neighbors with Billy Idol.

    My claim to fame.
