Wooohooo! MTGirl is showing me her butt! I feel so priveleged!

I figured you'd be too busy driving down here to kick my ass to respond...

The reason we only gave you shit all the time is because we didn't know anything yet, so that is all we had to offer, if that makes you feel any better...

Notice I said woman.. not girl. When they kick the air-head teenager/college party-girl phase, is when their attention span goes long. It's also about the time I start dating them. :) I really can't stand the mellodrama from girls, got enough of my own problems without having to deal with the fact that someone else is wearing the same shade nail polish as you.

That would be the carnage from my little run-in with a large rock after I hit black ice. Split the rim down the middle.. :)

At the risk of provoking MTGirl's wrath again, I'm going to sneak in another question. Would new 5 pack springs (Wheeler's/Alcan) lower my gross cargo capacity? I have a shell and tend to carry a fair amount of gear with me both on and off-road. Also, I took a closer look at my stock springs and they don't appear to be in as bad a shape as MTGirl's were (more or less horizontal). (photo below) With these concerns in mind, would it be a better option to go AAL? Although, if i'm going to replace everything else, I don't mind throwing in new leaf packs at the same time, if that would be better in the long run. Thanks again.

If you are going to go with Wheelers springs then the 5pack would be your best bet - that is what is recommended if you have a shell/tonneau/toolbox. I went 5pack because I wanted to rid my truck of axle wrap and while I don't tow/haul anything other than camping gear occasionally I do have sandbags for the winter which, weight wise, is more or less the same as a shell, etc. And just for reference, my 'before' pics of the leaf packs was with the sandbags in the bed. Yours don't look quite as bad as mine did but they're close.

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
Id try just putting on the Bilstein 5100s now and see if that improves your truck anyway those OEM shocks are toast by now,it may be very well that its just your shocks that need to be replaced, if you want to lift later youll have the necessary shocks already. My OEM shocks in the rear went at 40k I have some added weight in the bed plus a fiberglass tonneau cover that wore them out. I replaced with an aftermarket Bilstein HD shock its bigger than the OEM ones and my truck handles great now,I think I got them at (Eshocks.com?) Replaced the rears myself(easy) the stealership did the fronts with the coilovers. PS no Axle wrap happening

i have the toytec ultimate lift (comes with AALs in the rear, but you could not get those and just get a new pack that gives a lift, or get a stock replacement pack and use the AALs) and i love it, i have no regrets about getting it, rides great on and off road, and the company has great service...heres a pic of my truck with the lift on some 33s:
