Are you using the new grill you got

 

Can only get it to about 175 To get to the coals you have to take the meat and the rack off gonna check and see what the coals look like shortly .Even though this thing is considered a smoker ,grill , oven I can see already the smoker aspect of this contraption is at the bottom of the list . Should have a drawer for the coals but it will make due for now !

 

Yes ,first time . Had to order a thick ceramic plate that goes between the coals and the meat .Thats how it works . Keeps direct heat off the meat

This old man comes down to the Poolville store and has coffee with with the old timers. Truck is spotless and has 34,000 miles on it. Wife took the pic at the post office this morning.

I can appreciate that. I got my 98 TRD from my aunt before she passed (at 94 years old) a few years ago. My uncle bought it new and it was basically a well cared for ranch truck. When I got it, it had 44,000 miles and the 13 year old tires were starting to come apart. Last August I gave it to my son for his birthday. It's probably the most unmolested Tacomas around here.

 

This man put's 2 miles a day on this truck.

The same aunt I got the truck from I'd bought her 83 Cressida for commuting. It had 113,000 miles on it and I had to rebreak in the motor. It had never been over 55 mph. I got it up around 65 and the engine light came on, I let off and it went out. I did that a couple more times before I'd realized what was going on. I put another 30k on the car before I sold it. Had an electrical issue and I didn't want to chase it around.
