no I don't need it, im an adult and can figure out my own issues when it comes to my truck, I had to take my truck to 3 different Toyota dealerships in order to get a leaky strut replaced they are all different when it comes to service, time for you to quit playing a victim and get on the stick

promises, promises, all we've heard so far is a bunch of crying and lemon law threats, that's the difference between the men and the boys, the men have to do things they don't like to do in order to get results, the boys cry online about expecting things to get done and a favorable outcome

Yes, And that's how the owner of the Mdx felt as well. And that's a 60k vehicle. However the cabins of these vehicles need to be able to get fresh air in. They can not be sealed 100%. and if air can get in water can too. I understand how frustrating it can be. And I know the lengths that we have had to go to fix water leaks. Those that can be duplicated in any conditions. The problem is that every car wash has different jets that spray the water and different water pressures. And many other conditions that make each different. If you can make it happen in other washes you have a good shot at winning. If its is that one and only that one I can not see it going the direction you want.

Exactly. IF it’s only one vehicle leaking at only one specific wash, that’s an isolated event that no corporation is going to address.

I seen the video and it’s not even a car wash really. It’s U shaped pipe that sprays water from top and both sides as you drive through. It’s more of a rinse then car wash. OP I’m sorry but considering what this is, it seems like your making it more of an issue then it is. I will add that IF other washes and rain also causes the leak then I am 100% on board with you. But as of the last time you gave us info, you said you have only used that wash. Have you at least tried to replicate it at a different wash or even a garden hose yet?

No problem with a hose. Do you think the wash I use puts out too much PSI?

I think there is a ton of water that is dropping from three sides. The video looks like you are also lining up the front edge of the door with the spray and just sitting there. It’s kind of like spraying water at the bottom edge of the front door on your house. Enough water sprayed at that exact location for enough time and you will have water in your house. Same principle of doing a water crossing. The doors will hold out water BUT if you stop it will start to come in.

I got it....Toyota tested it on site along with the other truck they were going to trade mine for. According to them its PSI, to me its GPM or volume. Too much water. In the channel, overflows the a.c. filter into the cabin.

Exactly. Maybe if that was some geewiz amazing car wash then maybe the principle would be worth arguing. BUT if you drive through it without stopping and don’t have the leak, or don’t have it at your everyday car wash then I would say your “leak,” is a non issue.

A non issue maybe....so you are conceding ALL gen3s will do this in the exact same condition?

Honesty, no clue. Never been in a wash like that style. I’ve also only seen a very few number of people complain about theirs leaking. I’d be willing to bet if I dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water on my cowl or wife’s, then at least some water would drip down.

Ok....Toyota is saying it is the design of the Gen3. I did the same with a 4runner and Tundra....no leaks. This is my first Toyota, so I do not have the passion or enthusiasm you guys have....which I greatly respect. If I would of known I would not of purchased. Maybe its just me but I strongly believe I should be able to take any 2019 Toyota to any wash I damn well please and it won't leak. Maybe I I prevail in arbitration maybe I don't.
