    there are several stations in Independence and in Kansas City proper, that are battling each other for beer and chip sales inside, and selling at basically cost. It is going for $2.39 most other places this morining.

    well, its kind of due to the location. up the coast farther or off of I5 it gets cheaper by 10-25 cents/gallon, plus its a small town of roughly only 2000 in the city limits though many live a short ways out of town.

    It's crazy seeing the price drop once you cross the state line! That first Arco off the 5 is always packed! One of the cheapest I've seen on the West Coast!

    heres an interesting thing i found. its a trip calculator with directions from Google maps but it uses current fuel cost information to tell you where to get gas for the cheapest price over your trip!(even though its from Oregon, it works with all states)
