The video looks like you are stopped in one location. Did it leak as much if you drove through at a steady pace without stopping?

No...all dry.....I live in Florida....possibility of tons of rain at any given moment. Not to mention Tropical storms ,hurricanes that will produce more GPMs than any wash. Any guarantee it won't leak? Beats me....I just don't want to find out. Fair enough?

pull the glove box and get a good video of where the water is dripping out of. I don't think that's a windshield issue. looks like its getting into the ac ducting.

@Why me? My uncles 2019 Tacoma OR DBLB had the same issue. It leaked really bad during the raining season. He took the truck into the local Toyota dealer he purchased from and they fixed it. If I remember my uncle told me it was the windshield.

When I was younger and a working tech, being usually the smallest one in a shop , often times I was locked in one compartment or another with a strong lamp to discover water leaks .

T storm dumped buckets with some hail here yesterday. The sun had been out, and I was at a river swimming and panning gold, and Flash BOOM ! Came on so hard it was difficult to see with wipers on hi going 25 MPH Max, just like a real ripper in Miami. No leaks .

That grill behind the hood has a well under it. In the well are 3 holes not sealed. 2 are drains, the 3rd is that air box with the cabin filter. And then there is misc various bolt holes for things like wiper mounts , the wiper motor and screws that hold things on the other side , your side. I can't know if a palm leaf is caught in the air box or not, but in my 2012 that filter was stuffed hard to more than full on the top with pine needles. It didn't leak, but I suppose it could have. There could be a seal missing or a badly sealed weld . If it were mine I would go back and tell Toyota they better fix it, and quit playing around. If they refused I think I might have an accident .

I lemon law'd a truck last year. It was pretty damn easy, I called 1-800-my-lemon, filled out some paperwork a few phone calls and 4 months later I dropped the truck off at the dealer and got a fat check.

In Florida you have to go through 3rd party arbitration first.....then LL

In Florida you have to go through https://www.ncdsusa.org/ first.
You can file online by submitting all your documents and evidence, they will notify you if you qualify for arbitration within 48 hours.
Once accepted you will meet at the dealership with Toyota rep and the arbitrator.. the arbitrator is an attorney with a mediation license. You can opt to bring your own attorney to present your case and a court reporter . There is an option to do a "documents" only arbitration, where you submit all your evidence then ncds renders a decision.

If the arbitrator finds in favor of Toyota then you can file a state lemon law case, which you will again go before an arbitrator who is appointed by the state so they are truely independent. I cant see how a company Toyota pays will unbiased, but maybe Im wrong. If you lose during the state process, then you can retain an attorney and take Toyota to court.

There are some big name law firms that handle lemon cases, they all work on a contingency basis.. you win and they collect fees.. you lose it costs you nothing. I think going in without an attorney first is the best route, its better to save that card if you lose the first arbitration.

Not a fun ordeal... my folks went through the process with Mercedes on a CLS back in 2006.
They started out with an attorney who ended up settling for a cash amount.. my folks got $7k and the attorney got $15K.
I had a leaky Jeep (7 repair attempts), contacted Chrysler corporate first and they gave me a brand new Jeep.. with no out pocket costs. I thought contacting Toyota first before filing might get me a similar result but Toyota is not that kind of company... they seem set on going through the drawn out process.. guess they think some owners will just give up.

Had a buddy that bought a used Disco II. Windshield would leak at the headliner at 50mph or more in the rain. Took it to the dealer and they hemmed and hawed for a while. Then finally said ‘nope, it’s not a factory windshield so not warrantable’. He said ‘really glad I bought it CPO from you guys... want to reconsider that decision?’

He got a new factory windshield and a leak fixed. YMOV... your mileage obviously varies.
