At UniRoyal we had doctor blades for scrapping excess off the rolls. Unbelievable stupid SHARP! Didn’t like changing them, extra care handling them.

    Afternoon Everyone !!!!! :hattip:

Just had a very interesting and informative visit with the County VA office . During my meeting with the VA rep we were discussing my recent Disability rating appeal I filed 2 months ago

As she was looking up my case file on her computer all of a sudden she says " whoa " then a few seconds later she mentions it's your lucky day !!! . I ask her what's going on and she says I'm getting a substantial money award or back pay !!!!

I ask her for what and she mentions disability back pay from 1984 or 35 yrs ago and it's alot of $$$$$$ . She continues to look at my claim and can't find any notation but was entered into my file 4 days ago

So it looks like either the VA or the Military didn't input the correct disability percentage back in 1984

Ugh! I'm freakin' melting. High pressure moved in, clouds dropped, temps up to 105 and humidity is just above "swamp ass". Weather guessers (who said it was only supposed to be 98) said flashflood warnings....waiting for them to clear the airbag recall at the Jeep dealer. They need to crank the ac up ....oddly enough I just looked up into the parking lot and an ac repair truck just pulled up

56 this morning when I got up at 5, 71 right now the high for the day. 69 in the house with all the windows wide open and dry air. Damn it is nice. Even nicer that I'm not having to pay for electricity to run that $6K AC that I just replaced. It is the little wins in life!

No rain in forecast this week until weekend. First week all year with no rain or snow.

Evening kids, short 8 hour day. Took the truck in for warranty/recall work, they did a great job. Master cylinder and the radar cruise were recalled, never had a problem with the brakes. The radar cruise would act up sometimes, all good now. I got a 2019 Highlander as a loaner, nice car, glad to have my truck back. They had a T4R Pro , white, loaded , just a hair under 50K, I avoided the salesman fortunately.

That's why I like my doc.... young guy and been seeing him since I left the military. Hated seeing a different one every time I went in, about 1x a year. Especially since they had an attitude that I was just trying to get out of work.

Try Welchol. Doesn't mess with your liver.
