Stick fucking sucks for welding on our frames. Especially trying to weld thin wall tube to them. What are you running and what amperage? Our frames are so goddamn thin. I need more vertical practice and overhead is atrocious. MIG on the other hand is OKAY.

Whoa whoa whoa @Shortman5 and @Blackdawg hold up - I had given up on tuner chips and turbo kits when there wasn't much on the market back when I bought my truck back in '08; are you saying such things exist now? I just searched around a bit but all I'm seeing is noise from back in the day. What current sites/manufacturers/sources are you using? Can you point me to current threads on this subject? Thanks a ton.

    NEED HELP! OR ADVICE
Hey guys hopefully you can help me, so i've been havin a missfire with codes of p0303 & po304 first number 4 about 6 months ago from faulty plugs... but then after it was fine then started going to shit again & starting up rough, so now 6 months later it got bad to where the whole truck would shake... so i replaced my spark plug wires... & now it seems to idles much better but still feel a slight shake & theres no change in rpms dropping etc as before i change the wires but when i hit 70mph it starts shakin not bad but it shakes to where i can notice it i replaced one coil pack on cylinder 3 & also pulled the plugs & they seemed fine so now i dont know why it could still be shaking NEED help!

@Shortman5 was refering to OVTuning. They can crack the stock ECU HOWEVER! It will only be for 03-04s. NOT any other year tacoma.

The AEM FIC6 is just a standard piggy back that is universal. Many people have switch to using it for tuning the blower or turbo setups with good success.

Stand alone is still best and a Haltech or MS3 is a good option.

No, I have not heard back from OVTune after I got to the point of back and forth with emails stating that "I have money, tell me where to send it to purchase a ODB II dongle from you and where to download the software". I haven't heard back from that email yet and it's been 2 months.

FYI - after some recent digging, I found that the iECTS in the 2003-2004 models actually started as early as September 2002 trucks, so check under the hood or your driver side door jamb sticker for your manufacture date

Changed passenger cv today. What I thought was a little seepage turned out to be a completely torn boot. Do you all carry a spare cv on the trails?

I carry one with me whenever I head out wheeling. So far have only have had to change one out on the trail once.

Other members will chime in about a price. Has it always lived in sunny AZ? I'm sure you can get a nice price. I would take it to a "Dings and Dents" or "Dent Doctor" or "Paintless Dent Repair" to get the little ding on the front pulled out. Being able to have a dent-free vehicle to sell at a premium price will offset the cost of repair.

Around here I could get that dent removed for under $100 cash.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
People generally don't sign their name on placards and bolt them to their truck.

...I didn't get going all that fast, but even at 15mph or so, when you've got the right depth of water, the effect can be dramatic. Everyone loved it, I think. I know I did. :)

You know you want to see the rest, and hear about the snow we encountered. Check it all out at Stuck in the Snow! Washington Basin

We have a cabin in Boulder Creek. We usually go more directly via Bear Creek Rd but in the BMW with summer tires both are great fun

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
bet its just the wheel. take the column loose from the bottom and move it a tooth and you may be straight. or just have the alignment done.
