jsut a small update, they told me since i had a TRD suspension on the truck and it wasnt installed by them they would not cover it under warranty work and wanted to charge me for a full upper control arm! i said forget that.

So any suggestions on what to do to fix the small hole in the boot? its about the size of a pen tip

Is there any chance it was damaged during install of the TRD components?

wait wait wait...the dealer is claiming that the TRD suspension is not installed by toyota?...............BWAHAHAHAHAHA that is the biggest load of shit i have ever heard.

Or did you buy a non trd, and install trd suspension parts? In that case i would look like a complete fool...ehh par for the course. haha :D

i mean i guess its possible anything is, but i dont see how... we did the same things on the other side with no problem.

I think maybe i can fill the boot back up with grease and then put hot glue over it

Ok, like i said, par for the course for me. lol. But then again, what fun is life if you cant laugh at yourself every now and then. Oh well enough of my nonsense, back to the thread. You could always just buy a new upper ball joint. they are like 30 bucks.
