If it was just me going then easy decision but would be letting down some peoples. Regardless would make for some good riding time.

Sorry for the slow reply, I took a New Yorker to dinner at Red Iguana then visited a lady on her deathbed then helped take down the set after a Draper community theater show and just got back.

    Oh ... :anonymous:

I wish I could commit, the dinner is out by the airport and I might have to do some other stuff downtown right after. I was thinking at least swing by Conner’s and say hi if you’re hanging later on but the night wheeling sounds fun if we could find a spot.

Ha, yep, that was me. My buddy Nick ran outta gas a few blocks from my place. Pushed him into the turn lane and put a jerry full of gas in the tank.

How long can you store fuel in a Jerry can before the fuel goes bad or cause problems for your engine when you do use it?

Probably depends on the heat and how that affects the air in the tank to a degree.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully more people would chime in with their experience with storing fuel in a Jerry can or other fuel containers.

Yea I’m sure others will get more scientific, but out in AZ especially it gets really hot which degrades the gas quicker so I only fill up my rotopax if I’m getting ready to roll on a trip and use it as soon as I can. When I’m back I use all the remaining if I havnt already done so and store.
