Most guys running around in the desert aren’t to worried about that 1/2” loss in clearance in that area. I do a mix of trails and have never hit mine on anything.

Haha totally missed it. Its not an illegitimate concern though. Look at the lengths Marlin Crawler has gone to on their "rock crawler" long travel kit to improve clearance in that area. For some its a deal killer for others not so much.

So you knew they weren’t camburg links but said they were so they’d sell? That’s messed up

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
    They came
    Directly from the camburg shop
    From Jerry
    Who owns camburg....
Built for the race truck camburg owns...

    Not seeing your point here

    Might I add
    Jerry’s exact words were
If they don’t fit your truck
Post them up as camburg tig welded links and they’ll go quick
He even printed out a picture for me of the shock measurements if I needed them....

    Soooo

The way jerry explained it to me was as follows

These links came off our race truck
They were tig welded and spec’d to our details....

So they paid a fabricator... Ryan kibbe
To make them the links.. for their truck

    I felt it was semantics
    And if someone buys them
And wants to further search the history of these parts I would tell them
    To go ask....

    Camburg
    Jerry or Greg

    And honestly
There are parts of that info that doesn’t make sense to me

Since I thought it was quendos truck

So were they links quendo had made?
    Or links jerry had made...

Kinda a grey area if you ask me

    Bottom line
    Tig welded trailing arms
    Good condition
    1500$
Get them the f outta my house

It just comes off as dishonest because if I was going to purchase links advertised as “tig welded camburg links” that would lead me to believe I was getting the product camburg designed specifically for the Tacoma. Not a similar link designed by the same people but for a one off ranger trophy truck..

I would have similar emotions as well if I was expecting this to be official burg links related to an advertised product and then find out its a one off and possibly have complications that I may not have been expecting although I think the links are good to go for a taco anyway.

Fallon 250 put on by Vorra was a blast last weekend. You could of meet and talked to a few guys who have built linked trucks. I had a blast met some awsome people. Talked with crews that do shit I only wish I had the money and time to do.
If your out here on the west coast, I recommend checking out Vorra. Next yr is going to be awsome.

I had an assumption that was the case, but it actually makes it more critical to keep the creation of the links more transparent.

I set my little pickup up at around 40% anti squat at ride height.

Uppers at about 80% effective length of my lowers to keep the antisquat from changing so drastically throughout the travel.
Sacrificed a little on the pinion change to accomplish this.

At droop I'm at about 70% antisquat
At bump at about 20% antisquat
Think my total pinion change is a little under 5 degrees.

Pushes down into whoops/holes well without jacking or getting harsh as antisquat goes up going towards droop and doesn't suck up/pack up at bump as anti squat goes down

But maybe that's just all in my shock valving, bypass zones, and spring rates.
Lots of variables, sometimes I think it doesn't really matter that much, links all seem to work well if the shocks are valved somewhat decent.

+3.5 TC Long Travel DMZ Spring Under Nitro 4:56 Gears Custom Snorkel List Goes On..

I honestly think that is how it works out since we have IFS long travel trucks. I have been doing tons of research on building my own front LT kit and maybe even a 3-link for the rear for the sake of just saying "I made it". I am a engineer by trade so I love formulas an data. A while ago, I found a thread on bumpsteer on pirate 4x4. The thread was created by another engineer as he was trying to figure this out. There is very little info on offroad IFS suspension design. Most info is geared toward road racing. Basically, the concensus from other offroad fabricators was that your numbers will never exactly match what you calculate and your shock valving will take over. Also throw in Aired down tires with pliable side-walls and your ideal numbers go out the window. There are "ideal numbers" and real numbers that you have to deal with so just pick one.
