    Still counts right?

Smith and Wesson 32 Hand Ejector Model 1903 no change
SN 67XX out of approximately 19k made between 1903 and 1904

Or at least what's left of it

I have 2 sets of internals and cylinders on the way to complete the gun and I'll likely refinish it first as theres a good amount of rust and very little bluing left

Collectors value is gone because it doesnt have the factory cylinder with the serial number and markings on it

I just picked one up for home defense and taking camping/hiking, first handgun. I don't pretend that it's good for much other than close up encounters, but that's all we need it for. No plans to carry daily. If you're interested this guy did a pretty decent review on it. The second video is the same guy testing some wildly expanding ammo made just for the long cylinders in the Judge and S&W Governor.

Went to the range yesterday for the first time in too long. Took my 357 LCR, 2” model 10-5, and my Rossi m511 .22LR pictured elsewhere in this thread.

It was my first range trip with the Rossi. I was more than pleasantly surprised at its accuracy (or rather, mine with it) both SA and DA. Ordered a set of Pachmayr grips for it as the stock wood panels are a bit hard to hold one handed and I’m going to use it for bullseye league this winter. The cylinder really need a good cleaning too, as by the end of the day I had to force rounds in to two of the chambers. Shot great and extracted fine at least.

Shooting the LCR and Smith side by side, I shot the Smith better at targets single action but I shoot the LCR better DA (it’s only way obviously) and more accurately when just plinking and point shooting. Standard 130gr FMJ 38’s were similar from both guns, 125gr Remington JHP+P’s were rougher out of the LCR (17 ounces) vs the model 10 (28 ounces) but tolerable for both.

I really wish the 3” LCRx was a six shot... maybe a Colt king cobra is in my future?

    Thanks.
No, haven’t shot it yet. I have a range time planned for later this month.
The trigger pull is long and hard; but, very smooth. I do not plan on lightening the trigger. I want the rimfire round to reliably go “bang”. I can deal with the trigger, as is.

I've had a Ruger gp100 in .357 now for about a month and i highly recommend it. I got a 4 inch barrel, due to wanting to carry it with me when im cruising timber. Easy to carry, at least, as easy a large frame revolver could be carried :)

When my grandmother passed away in 2014, we were cleaning out her condo and found this in her nightstand, fully loaded and ready to go! She had her carry permit too. The family had no idea she had the pistol, but she did previously live in a not so great area, so it makes sense. She still had the original box, paperwork and these 2 boxes of ammo from when she bought it in 1992. Wish I could still find it for $3.50!

Anyways when I carry this particular gun I get a little sentimental/ nostalgic. The family was gracious enough to let me inherit the gun and take care of for the rest of my days
