I recently added a max modular bed rack and roofnest sparrow that goes over the cab. It fit's perfectly (the gps antenna fits in a little notch on the bottom of the roof nest so I can't move it any further forward or backward)

Are there any decent roof racks that only go 3/4 of the way back (or have side rails that go all the way back but nothing in the center)? I want to gain a little more storage up front, make it look better, and get a large led bar.

Welp, I sold the maxx and bought a camper shell instead. I had to put some wood between the top bars and the tent to make it fit without hitting my gps antenna.

It only took a week or so, I knocked a couple hundred off the price because I had it for a few months.

My main reason for selling though is I wanted to be able to lock all my climbing/biking/camp gear up and couldn’t do it with the max. The pieces of wood were some oak flooring pieces so only like a half inch thick. I’m pretty sure they’re on there in that picture and you can’t teally tell.

The tent has been great, the ladder sucks though, broke the first time out. Be careful stepping on the rungs.

Ladder is part of the tent, imo.

Like the handle on a shovel is part of the shovel.

If the ladder is crap, tent quality is now in question.:boink:

I never replaced the ladder, still using the one that came with it sans bottom step. Oh well.

How's the fiberglass shell holding up with the tent up top? Any cracks/fractures?

No issues so far but I do have the rtt hung from the roof of my garage when not in use. The two longer trips I took with it last year I had it connected to both the cab and the shel rack.
