Unfortunately they are not. The ball joint isn't centered in the uca.

well does anyone know if you have to replace the whole arm on the 2010 or if you can just replace the joint itself?

Oh I thought you meant the whole uca. I'm sure the ball joint itself is the same. Sorry for the confusion.

just keep her topped off with some good lithium grease its not like the boot does anything but keep the grease in it. i drove a truck for years after my super swampers put a rock through the boot. i just put grease in it like twice a month. it worked fine. if you can hit it with some electrical tape that works to. u will be really surprised about how long if you buy really good tape how long it will stay. i tore a cv boot offroad and drove the truck for 2 more years with the tape on it and sold it like that no leaks.

Liquid electrical tape, clean the boot apply sealant let it dry and pump some grease in.

As matter of fact, for such a small hole, any flexible sealant like silicone, shoogoo, ect. should do the trick.

For the lower ball joint you have to buy the whole arm assembly.

For the upper ball joint, I'm 99% sure you can buy just the ball joint.

Another option would be to just buy the boot kit for the upper joint. If it isn't available for the 2005+ tacomas, they are definitly available for the pre-2005 Tacomas. Comes with a new boot and grease. Size of the boot should be pretty much the same between years.
