Alright did my grille install, struggled with the first couple clips taking out the OEM grille but after I got it started they came out pretty easy.

Went with one of the grilles made by @Cutting_Edge since it was a great deal and this was the biggest cosmetic mod within my budget right now

Took it out for a 3 mile test drive, lane departure seemed to work like normal(I normally leave it off unless I’m doing long drives where my reaction time may decrease) as did my brief use of adaptive cruise control. Have a 20+ mile trip on the interstate tomorrow morning so that’ll be the real test for the TSS

Does anyone know how to turn off the seat belt warning chimes? I was able to do it myself on my 2008 but on the 2019 it looks like you need the dealer to do it.

The only way I think you can do it is like some is take the cluster assembly out and physically break off the chime. Otherwise I think only the dealer can do it. Not sure if the charista app does that.

    It does.

Just can’t to the up, up, down, down, left, right, seat belt lock, seat belt unlock, a, b, select, start code anymore... need Christa, a like device or convince the dealer.

Seriously back in early 2016 someone posted a video showing what to break off. Thought that was pretty radical on a new truck.

My dealer wouldn’t do it. I bought seat belt extenders.

My Tuffy security box showed up a day early. Only took 20 minutes to install. C5FD7A34-1875-447C-A82C-4119372A33F2.jpg240394D7-D9DE-4792-8A81-16C1BB8846F2.jpg

I am having an issue with the iPhone. When the phone is connected via Bluetooth to the factory head unit, I don't get the text prompts and I cannot hear the voice guidance and alerts from Waze. How do I correct this? Is this a Toyota or an iPhone issue?

With regards to the text prompts I had to turn off MMS and activate SMS for it to work. (Of course you have to have notifications turned on with your headset). Unlikely this change affects Waze.

Installed led headlights high and low beams. And the fog lights to LED. Bought a console insert to give me a shelf. And ordered new wheels today and another 5500.00 worth of upgrades :).

I believe I've heard others say you have to go to some kind of settings on your iPhone, but not sure since I have android. In order to hear Waze you must be on bluetooth Audio and not using Radio, CD or satellite radio. Sorry, Not sure if that helps.

When you buy it, you should get a 30 free trial - I did. I then shut my driver and passenger warning bell to OFF and switched my blinker flash from 3 to 5. During the 30 free trial I was able to do this for a few other members who lived in my area. At the 30 day mark, I cancelled my subscription - if you don't do the app will signs you up for one of the payment plans automatically - so don't forget to cancel!

Installed my Coverking neoprene seat covers. Buddy of mine got them for me as a wedding gift. Extremely happy with them. Definitely recommend at the price point.

And they complement the quicksand paint pretty well. Not an exact match, but close enough to look good.
