I just ordered a set of these today to replace some American Racing AR172 Baja wheels that I've had nothing but trouble with since getting them put on two weeks ago. Love the look of these and am hoping for a better experience with them.

 

@Discount Tire OP does the 17X9 6-139.70 ET-12 Matte Black (4.5" BS) require a special size tire? I wanted to get some KO2s put on & wanted to make sure I’m ordering the correct sizing. What’s the best size / how big can I go with a readylift 3” front 2” back level/lift kit? Any input is appreciated.

Just got mine. 17x9 with -12 offset wrapped by BFG KO2s 285/70r17.

Side note: has anyone notice that the rear driver side tire/wheels pokes out less then the passenger side rear?

 

jmarcosgomez, thank you for posting some photos. Your truck looks amazing. Are you sure the tire poke is not just the angle you took the photo?

 

I'm not sure I think it has to do with the design of the tacoma.

The front side is the same in both sides. But the rear is where the slight problem shows up. It looks like 1/4" or so.

It could be that the axle isn't perfectly centered.

I would double check the dimensions on the wheel too. On the inside barrel of the wheel in question it should read 17x9 with the offset -12 stamped somewhere next to the letters ET. This will eliminate the possibility of a miss-boxed wheel.

 

I'll make sure to check this Saturday when I take the wheels off to install the add-a-leaf i bought and the Bilstein 5160. I think I saw somewhere on another thread someone with the same issue. but I don't think it would have been caused by a different offset. i will keep everyone posted. These wheels are way better looking in person than in any picture I have seen.
