    Can you get your meter posts onto the electric motor's connector, like unplug it and measure the posts that go to the windings?

    I think he said that fan runs for just a couple seconds and then shuts off. I'm not sure how long it stays off before attempting to start again. @Wulf

    After letting it sit all day today it has ran the whole time I've been troubleshooting but it is turning very slow.

    Between C and R and C and G at the board I'm seeing 27 V AC and as I understand it should be 24.

    I'm seeing 21ohm across the low side of the transformer which indicates its bad according to this site https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-tips-on-testing-a-transformer

    27 on 24v is fine. If the transformer was bad it will kill everything. I think it might be the signal wire for the fan. Or something else power related.

    It seems to be. By jumping R and G on the tstat backboard the fan comes on but no faster than when the tstat is running it

    thats terrible for the valve body. at full throttle the line pressures would be way out of spec.

    Yeah, pretty much. It sounds like it's only turning at a few hundred rpm. It will come on randomly for shorter and shorter intervals til it only runs for a few seconds when it does come on

    I wonder if it had a open winding in the fan that as it heats up kills it. Then once it cools back off it re starts. Trying seeing if the fan is still getting power even when its not running
