Motor is too hot to touch too now BTW.

 

As far as I can tell it was installed before 2007 and was last serviced in 2008 before I started messing with it.

Wait so it runs and its common - say speed 1 and its 120v then it stops running and it goes to common - speed 1 24v

 

The shocks were up there as a contingency plan for something else, but the window did fall when the cab roof hit the ground and landed unharmed haha. I still have it actually

 

If this the case see if the signal wire at the board or what ever controls power to the fan is still 24volts or if it drops

 

Yeah, something like that. I would see 110+ on speed 1 and 400mv or so on the others

I'll go with the first, the latter sounds too old world spiritual. At a certain point you realize you're going over and just sorta work with that.

 

blow seals out. kill the trans eventually.

 

It will only run 1 speed and changed if needed. But if its dropped from 120 to 24 yoi have a power supply issue. Either the signal wire telling the board or contactor to close to opening or its not having power sent to it by the board

 

Full line pressure isn't even achieved under full throttle, but moderate increase should be fine. I just wouldn't yank it all the way out.

if youve got the cable tight enough like he supposedly had it'll do damage. i run mine a little tight. but nothing ridiculous.

 

Nah, they were already disliked well before that. I started really disliking them about a year after I got them.

That might be from it trying to start over and over again

 

speaking on transmissions. do i just pull the tundras and have it rebuilt or do i try a shift kit first to fix the 4th to 5th flare when cold..
