What did you end up getting for a replacement? Identical truck or did you switch it up?

Um I really loved the cement color on my Trd off road but I really wanted the pro so I got that. That was my only dilemma
I got my down payment back from the insurance and put down another 5 thou and had a minor hook up at the dealer.

 

Some states have different rules. Ca is the cost of repairs plus the scrap/salvage value vs actual cash value. Not saying that’ll help me but who knows, maybe a newer Tacoma has a higher salvage value. Im not sure but I’ll find out soon

Well, it's pretty much wrapped up at this point.

The truck was totaled out and I was given enough to pay off the loan but it wasn't quite enough to get my truck back to exactly how I had it. I already got my replacement which is nearly the same truck, but it is a MT and has the premium package and it came with a bunch of TRD-add ons (TRD air-filter, TRD branded skid, shift knob, blacked out Tacoma emblems).

I can't wait to get my truck back to where it was, but it'll take a little time. I'm starting by peeling off all the things I am going to sell - TRD skid, predator steps, mud flaps and then i'll go from there.

Overall - still happy to jump in a Tacoma and couldn't believe that I walked away without being injured in any type of way.

 

What do you want for the skid?

 

I was thinking somewhere around $275, but that was based off about 3 minutes worth of research. I would be willing to ship at buyer's expense.

 

Shipping would likely kill me, as would my finance manager, I'll probably just wait, but thanks for the response.
