    Drove it tonight and man does it instantly remind me that a 12 year old American vehicle has a transmission that's 100x better than the turd gen. So smooth and downshifts like a dream.

    I've gotten used to the taco transmission and just accept it for what it is. Not bad not great most likely bad programming more than anything. Plus if my truck had the initial torque delivery with a light touch of the skinny pedal that my wife's ride does I'd have no rear tires left.

    Anytime my buddy's reaches 140 degrees it slams into gear. Doesn't matter what gear, upshift or downshift and doesn't matter how fast you are going. And this is a brand new trans that had 2500 miles on it when I rode in it.
