I would be stunned if if 4th gen didn't come in at least a hybrid, if not a full electric.

I'm with you on that one. I'm also thinking the Tundra/Tacoma platform will also support the next gen Hilux.

My money is on Toyota making it easier to swap trucks than headlights for the 2016-19s.

Every year emission laws get more strict. Toyota has begun investing in electric cars. The rest of the world is ahead of us regarding EV. China is the number 1 country when it comes to EV. Europe is number 2 and they both set timelines regarding total EV. At best we MIGHT see a 4cyl turbo, but in the not so distant future it’s all EV. My reasoning of scooping up a 19 and the plan is to keep it indefinitely.

and that is exactly why we will never seen a diesel. They have cracked down so hard on them that they are no more efficient than a gas engine.

After Audi’s diesel gate scandal they no longer are involved with diesels. They marketed clean diesel. Diesel is not clean.

Easy to innovate when only 15% of your population owns vehicles and average driving distance is less than 10 miles a day.

We are one of the last countries still using coal. Think about that as coal is the dirtiest of fuels.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Ditto. Bring it Toyota... otherwise we'll be shopping Tesla instead.
