    my unicorn- 2004 Prerunner 2.7 with 53k

Paint is great... need to protect it from the intense high altitude sun... suggestions? Friend suggested ceramic but not feeling it after researching... love to hear what some members would suggest...

and sadly it's missing the manual and spare tire changing equipment... anyone know what all I am missing? Is there a tool kit or just the spare tire kit... is Ebay the best source to try and replace?

Thanks ... any suggestions are appreciated on care, etc...s-l1600.jpg

Do a nice Paint Sealant, wait a few days and add another coat over that. Then wash and after wash use a quick detailer spritz. This paint is 5 years old in the salt belt and still looks new. You can also do your own ceramic coating easily and it won't cost an arm and a leg. I use all Blackfire Products

It's a fairly new product overall and expensive to have done.
I have been quoted $1000 more than once (the polish step/prep takes a lot of time to complete).
Everyone agreed, the prep step is important to do and do correctly as the ceramic will seal in the imperfections.
Supposedly shops that offer a ceramic coating for $300ish are Not polish/prepping.
It's Only guaranteed for 3-5 years and no one seems to know yet how long it will really last but when it fails, you start all over.
Hope this helps, open to any info others have... still learning!

Park it in that garage and don't drive it. That's how it's stayed so nice so far.

Yes, paint correction is part of the polish step... but make sure you get the "longevity" in writing! and hope the place is still in business! ... for me, it's just too new...

Well shoot I don't know of what I have to trade as my 01 taco is simple and complete but the 04 is lacking the spare tire changing tool kit/jack? I have a FedEx ground account that could be used for shipping if you would consider selling it. Or is this your only kit and you were making a joke? (lol wouldn't be the first time a joke went over my head...)
