lol I know, and I'm going to take you up on that ride. I just mean for a day to day M-F ride, it's dang near impossible to do. Riding can realistically only happen on the weekends with the proximity I have to anywhere to ride, unless I just have absolutely nothing else to do one evening.

Gotcha. I’m fortunate to have tannehill about 5 minutes from my house, a 70 something acre bike park in my parents neighborhood 15 minutes away, and oak mountain ~25 minutes away.

Last night I got there around 6 and was home by 7:45. That won’t be able to happen in a few months when it starts getting darker quicker.

Most activities we do require a weekend for timing. Waking up early for a good ride still leaves the rest of the day even if the place is a little ways out.

it does, and I'd like to make a good morning trip to Oak Mtn. when it's cooled off a little. Similar to camping, MTB in the insane heat we have sometimes is just simply not worth it to me.

I'm waiting on this ~4mile MTB course that's supposed to open up near my house....they're putting all focus on the cross country portion right now since they have a meet next month, but we will see what the MTB portion is going to be...I'm "optimistic"

Ah man. I love the heat when I’m biking. Was absolutely drenched yesterday and it felt great!

I’d just do hammer hangers with stock length leaf packs. Go with 63s if you want a flipped shackle for more droop

I hope so. Right now it’s just fresh sod for the running courses that the bike course is supposed to be directly beside. I want to see what changes, because if it’s just the same as the running course it’s gonna be boring af.

So since I'm no longer getting free AALs, I need input from the group. Single AAL or 3 leaf AAL? I'm looking at doing a 3 & 2 lift (so it still sets level). Spends 90% of its time on the road, but want it to still preform when given the chance. Pros/Cons are appreciated.

The single leaf is going to have more "bow" to it, hence giving you the same amount of lift that the progressive 3-leaf does. 3-leaf is going to ride better than the single leaf.

Only reason to get a single over a progressive AAL is cost. Get the 3 leaf if you are going the AAL route.

3 years. I haven’t been particularly easy on them though.
