Why do people that dont own pro are always complaining its not worth it? Lol
Lets get opinions from those that actually own one and paid the markup!

Because we can see on paper that the additions aren't remotely close to the additional $8-10k after dealer markup. You don't have to be a genius, nor an idiot, to figure it out. It's not like Toyota has given the pro anything superior that we can't copy or even improve upon in the aftermarket. It would be a totally different story if the Pro had more power, was the only way to get an M/T, was widebody or long travel, etc, but such is not the case.

can confirm, would have upgraded to Pro model if they offered an access cab manual. As it was, I bought an AC auto TRD-OR because they don't even offer a TRD AC manual...

I think it's worth it! ~$45K, you get all leather seats with custom stitching and logos, a nice suspension that has a warranty, front grill, rigid fogs, cat back exhaust, skid plate, and you get a more exclusive truck with arguably more resale value.

Vs. Trd OR with leather for north of $35K, upgrade the crappy suspension, etc. I know some people dont care about the grille and exhaust and such.

I am considering a Pro. Waiting for the 2020 due to more features and Army Green color. It would be stupid for me to buy now.

I’m in a similar boat. The Pro is definitely tempting for me though. I’ll provably end up in a 2020 OR though. Anyone have any insight into what pricing looks like out of the gate usually? Are there deals to be had or is it usually pretty rough for the first several months of a new release?

This was my thought too. At my last service I spoke to a salesman about a pro with a snorkel they have had since at least April. He said he told the GM it has sat because of the snorkel and they would be better off buying a complete fender and painting it to match and including the snorkel with the cut out fender in the sale.

2020 Tacoma production starts in August so expect a press release from Toyota soon regarding pricing. My guess is a $1500 price increase for the Pro model.

Yep. Ditch the snorkel, sell at MSRP and all those sitting will be gone.

Not speaking to anyone directly but more in the general sense.

I haven’t read through this thread, I’m still on the first page but I’ll never understand all the shit pros and they’re owners get on this site. And before you make the assumption, no I do not own one.

Yeah you may think they’re overpriced for what you get but others like them and nobody is forcing you to buy one either so why all the hate?

The dealer didn't sell him anything. He's renting it for 3 years at a total cost of $13,020. Totally feasible. Lease haters are lease haters.

If you would read a little closer you would see that I never said the dealer sold HIM the vehicle for anything. Try again pal.

Don't forget about taxes too, but good try.

Instead you'll pay hundreds of dollars maintaining and fixing a deteriorating foreign car out of warranty.

I’ll tell you what it would be. It would b an opportunity for some of us to buy some high end vehicles at bottom dollar.
