Anyone got any ideas for 1 person mounting a rtt on top of a camper who doesn’t even have enough strength to lift his own arms?

I got tired of asking a neighbor to keep helping. Doesn’t matter how strong you may be, it’s a minimum 2 person job.

Look into a garage ceiling hoist. I have the Racor. My truck is my DD so having the ability to take the tent off when not using helps. Plus it stores on the garage ceiling so it’s out of the way. My bed rack is a BAMF ‘overland’ rack that breaks down pretty easily and stores on my side yard.

This best shows what I did in my garage, only difference is I’m able to just fit the cross bars under the tent and not have to strap the tent under the cross bars.

Hoist was my first idea since my roommate told me about them since he works for a crane hoist repair company but I have a shell and a lift and the front runner clears the garage entryway by about 3 inches

 

Those are a luxury nowadays

Make sure that you install a hoist in the rtt to pull you into it when it's time to camp

 

$340....rather just buy a jerry can...

 

Might be a couple guys here who have had their wives make this call.

 

I want to figure out a way to use something like this.

Spotted this beaut down on a job in San Jose last week. There were also plenty of people parking in front of hydrants here to keep the asshole parking thread in clover for a few days.



Had traction boards strapped to the tailgate mounted spare.

 

Wish I could use a ball to get rid of them pinches in the back.

I can only get rid of the pain when someone grabs around my shoulders and lift me off the ground then jerks me upward
or a big Chinese girl walking on it.

 

I have 1 3/4 arms but managed this...

What aftermarket battery terminals everyone is using? I need extra points on the terminals to attach additional shiet that has been added on. Too poor to add Spod or similar stuff.
