I usually check and re-inflate before every ride. The only time I don't have to pump them up is if I typically ride again the same day or the next. I've noticed my double down casing in the front seems to lose psi slower than the lighter exo casing in the back, but it's also a 2.5 vs 2.3 volume so I don't know if the casing is slightly more permeable or it's just the difference in overall volume.

I'd first ask you to lay out your setup...

Which tires, which rims, which tape (and how long ago was it installed/inspected), sealant type and how long ago it was checked (all sealants have a best-by date).

I won't lose 5-9 psi in any of my tires until usually a month or so goes by. Never that much within a week. Maybe 2-5 after a week.

A lot of variables depend on climate as well. In Arizona its exceptionally dry and hot. Hot/dry air is less dense than cool/moist air which will cause a tire to lose pressure faster. Also the dryness makes sealant dry up faster which in turn causes more pressure loss. I go through 2 ounces of sealant per tire every 2-3 weeks this time of year. My road bike lives in the house and holds air/sealant much longer in the cool humid air.

    It's dirty.
My new Evil Offering after checking out the bike park. I'm new to the area, so if anyone's looking for a riding buddy near Seattle, drop me a line.

Well, picked the Fuel back up. New rubber, and no tubes.
Was hoping to rip on it tomorrow, but, last I checked, weather is gonna be a problem.....

Wow. I add sealant maybe twice a year. I lose about 2 psi a week with Maxxis EXO. Coastal California.

That Optimus is sick! It appears to have too many gears, though. You should remedy that situation while your friend is away.

I was in the process of ordering the same frame when I broke my leg a few years ago, so I had to cancel the build. Tom from Vassago is good people, so I may still grab the Optimus or a new Verhauen. Not sure yet.

Sweet ride. If you're new to the area, depending on where in "Seattle" you are, you'll want to check out Duthie Hill, Tiger Man and Black Diamond. I get over to the coast about once or twice a month Spring-Fall usually, but this year has been busy on other things. I'd be up for a ride in the coming months.

Got to do one of my favorite rides this year. A drop off in Nederland and ride back to the house. 40 miles, 4.5K up, 7.5K down, all through the mountains and small mining towns. Lots of secret and badass singletrack though there that is too remote to ride otherwise. Tons of wildlife and wildflowers are everywhere.

Yep, and definitely bring your bike, tons of riding in the area. Let me know when you're around, be happy to show you around or at least give you some local intel on the goods. There's xc type riding that most people know about (West Magnolia), and "other" trails that are on the natural side, steeper, rocky, loose, back-country style. The hiking in the area is exceptional as well, with 4th of July trail accessing the Indian Peaks wilderness which is breath-taking. There's even a trail from Ned to Winter Park over the ridge, which is kinda boring to ride but crazy beautiful and a cool adventure. And there's Sourdough/St. Vrain for rock and tech remote riding.
Just pull up Trailforks, you'll see tons of stuff.

Sweet offering! I have the same bike, with a much older Tacoma (1998). Love that bike, just did the Push 11/6 upgrade.

Jacob and I camped and rode here a few years back too. I'll have to fill you in on the trails we hit.

Nice! Yeah you should definitely bring the bike. We camped off an FS road headed up to Rainbow Lakes campground. We rode Sourdough and St. Vrain I believe. Absolutely beautiful area and very rocky, technical trails.

Anytime dude! For some reason I was thinking that the bachelor party was in Golden, CO. Had I known you were going there I would have mentioned that.

First Tacoma ('19 TRD Sport DCSB) & new to the forum. Need advice on a 3 - 4 bike hitch rack. Almost pulled the trigger on a RockyMounts Monorail system, but realized I wouldn't be able to open my tail gate when it's on. Finding most other 4 bike tray style set-up pose the same problem. That ain't cool. What are you using?

And, I dug a little, but... Link me to a previous thread on this topic if it's out there.

    Thanks a ton.
