I want the concept of them. I have read positive reviews on the Archive ones. I am curious about the bamfs. They are way cheaper which both intrigues me and makes me wonder.

I found the best approach at removing the rivets off the frame was to cut at the head and create an "X" design, which will weaken the strength of the head substantially. After you have created your X if you have an air hammer/ chisel, well you are basically set to go to town on the metal left over. ;)

It's what I did for my upper frame bump stop extension towers when I installed my air bump mounting cans and it worked incredibly well.

After cutting the head off, how did you get the rivets out of the frame?

If I remember correctly I used that same air hammer with a pointed tip attachment to push out the rest of the rivet. Incredibly minimal effort was required as there was no longer anything to retain the rest of the rivet there in place.

Nice, I just bought an air chisel on Saturday. Need to get some time to knock this out. Thanks for the reply.

No problem. The Blue Point air hammer/ chisel at my work has single handedly gotten me out of MANY otherwise bad situations with this truck while doing work on it in my past 7 years of ownership with it. Have a blast!

I also have a BJ press, saw a video on this method also. Going to take a couple of days off and throw everything I have at it. Wish it wasn't triple digits here these days.

On the bottom rivets, don’t even try the chisel, I’d go straight to the press. Reason being is it’s easy, and you dont risk bending the frame up. Ask me how I know.

I love low prices, I just don’t know anyone that has installed them.

If it makes you feel any better, I tried like hell to buy @YamaDirtrider s last night.

If you were on the west coast you would see tons. 95% of our annual sales doesn't go much further then the mid west. And only a few shipped to CO so far.
