    lol...it's a video on the local tv stations by the SC popo about DUIs. it starts off like an episode of 24 w/ the time and the music and all. a guy gets pulled over in a RR 2nd gen and gets arrested.

    Anyone have the gps coordinates for URE? So I can look it up on google earth.
    Gonna try and plan to go up in the next few weeks when the trees start to change color.
    Also, is there camping available there.
    I've been up that way a time or 2 when I was riding motorcycles with some buddy's on up past looking glass falls but it's been a while back.
    Any info on wheeling up there would be great.

    I work 3rds so I guess I could run up in the morning someday during the week. I wouldn't go by myself and I am 2x4 locked and lifted so I would like to have a 4x there just incase.
    If I had the gps coordinates or something close to there that I could look up the distance that would be great. Like to go just to have a look when it's not crowded. As long as I'm back here in Greenville some time before 3pm, it's all good.

    No days left. Used all my personal time for the year. However I have a long weekend for labor day and I have the entire last week of September off.
    Ashboros not that far from me really. I've been to Hendersonville quite a few times and it takes me about 50 mins I guess. That shouldn't be that much further.

    I think we have a GE plant up there somewhere. Maybe lighting?
    I think they are hiring again after a big layoff a few years back. Putting on a complete 2nd or 3rd shift.

    That might be a better option for me. I just asked a guy that lives in Hendersonville where asheboro was and he didn't have a clue. I might be in the wrong neck of the woods.
    I'll do some research and holler if I'm gonna be up that way.
    Is there a date for the meet?

    Yup. I was confusing them. Regardless mapquest says 3 hrs. So.....2 and a half hours. Maybe I'll take a Friday drive up when I get off work at 7am. Can't wait for the fall weather!!!

    we've got 2wd w/ lock and w/ LSD through som eplaces. prolly can get you through 5-6 trails w/o too much issue
