He may have jumped the gun. I think Bellator has enough money to be competitive now and they will have easier fights and can and will promote her more. She will gladly take the easier fights now that Nunes has starched her and another loss would detract from her air of invincibility. She has been protected to an extent similar to Fedor, of whom I loved to watch, but always thought was very beatable.

I like how Cyborg is mad about stuff Dana and Rogan said well before she signed with UFC. If you didn't like what Dana said about you why would be sign with the UFC. She just seems like a lot of drama, ufc doesn't even have a ranking for the 145lb girls. They made a whole division just for Cyborg and she is still bitching.

I couldn't agree more but how many high end athletes have done exactly that. It's expected in the NBA, MLB, NFL and so on. It's just sad to see it coming to MMA. Once the Gracies sold out it's been a mixed bag. There is truly some amazing humble talent out there but as many, if not more, winy talent out there.

We had a sign that hung on the ceiling of my wrestling room. It simply said "Pain is Temporary, Pride is for Forever". My coach hung it on the ceiling because you never wanted to see that sign and if you did it meant to get something going to reverse the shit situation you just put yourself in. He also instilled that that same pride went for loosing as well. You lose. You get up. You shake the guys hand that just beat you and you go back and get better. No trash talk or BS was ever allowed at our meets.

Agreed but I’m starting to think she is trying to play them, only to later sign with someone else. Maybe I’m wrong. Unless Nunes stops training the 135 and 145 division is hers. I think VS is actually the best woman fighter but Nunes is just too big for her and we’ve reached the point in MMA now for some time that size truly does matter, so Nunes rules. I think Cyborg could move on and try to sell the “I just got caught by a good shot” line and beat up a bunch of nobodies elsewhere and keep her aura and ego intact, or at least try to.

I'm just sick of seeing bloated 135lb girls fight Cyborg. The last 6/7 girls she has faught were really 135ers. Spencer seemed like she was really a 135er too. The ufc doesn't seem like it wants a real 145lb division at this point.

I think Lawler will avoid most take downs and get up quickly on the ones he does get caught in. I also think he'll have a good shot on the feet. I'm calling Lawler by KO in the 2nd.

I think Guida/Miller is gonna be a better show then the mine and I'm calling that one to close to call. I expect a good old fashion street fight though.

He looks ripped in the promo shots. Being ripped and being in shape can be two different things though.

Colby has a pretty weak opponent list overall. Lawler by TKO 3rd.

I too, think CC is going to take it....

His antics and public dislike often overshadows his actual talent and ability.
You don’t become ranked #2 in the welter weight division by accident.

Like @Mike likes Tacos said, if CC can utilize his wrestling and wear down the blood thirsty savage that IS Robbie Lawler, he could very well beat him.

That being said, Robbie looked scary as shit when he fought Askren. Could be a really exciting match up. Well just have to see.

Looks like I'll be attending the fights on Saturday with a friend that I've made through my son's daycare.

Should be decent seats that we got from what I was told.

It'll be my 3rd UFC event. First was UFC 154 in Montreal, second was UFC Fight Night At Foxwoods Casino here in CT, and this will be the third.

    Dude, unfortunately.

Have you ever been to one?

Edit... never mind, saw your post.

I’ve been to 2, the 3rd one will be the Vancouver card.
