    energy suspension sells 2 different size kits for our trucks, Ill bet you they gave you 27mm busking and a 26mm sleve!

    Do you know what size kit you ordered?

    I ordered the one specified for my truck. Maybe they just mixed up the parts in the bag on accident.

    I see on the energy suspension site that the 26mm and 27mm kits are both specified for your truck the part#s are 8.5117 (26mm) and 8.5118 (27mm).
    They both say they will fit late 1995-2004 tacomas.

    So the question for energy suspension is: How do we know what kit out truck calls for?

    Let us know what the outcome is!

    Update!

    Dan contacted energy suspension and got everything taken care of. I should have the parts this week.

    I'll update again when I get everything installed successfully.

    that big 'D' shaped bushing that fits around the rack, is it supposed to be cut? It looks like it is from the illustration of it in the install directions, but it seems weird to me.

    all my sleeves seem to fit snugly in their bushings, so at least I dodged that bullet. Glad to hear you're getting your issues sorted out.

    Bilsteins 5100's front and back. Wheelers add a leaf
    if ur gonna do the bushing install u should go ahead and do the tac welds on the stearing column mod. this will greatly improve the way the truck feels too

    Sounds like way to much risk of burning something for sure. If a spark goes flying into the dash & does catch something, how would you extinguish it? I wouldn't try...use a welding blanket for sure. If your successful please report back.
