    Hi all, new to me 2017 TDROR DCSB owner here and I wanted to get some advice. The truck currently has just over 26k miles and I plan to give it a lot more, but I wanted to ask you veterans if there was a list of changes that would give me the best peace of mind. What I mean by that are things like this
    • tailgate lock to prevent tailgate theft
    • fixing TSBs to help truck run smoother/longer/efficiently
    • ac drain mod to prevent rust
    Hopefully this gives you a good idea of what I'm looking for. I know there's plenty of threads on this subject but I'm more focused on drivability/livability. Truck came with a bed mat so I've already got one checked off the list!

    Oh I hadn't done any of those yet, just trying to gauge their impact. From what I can tell the first owner put in a spacer lift up front (and possibly back) to level out the truck. As for right now I want to keep it as close to stock as possible. My last vehicle I rushed in headlong so I want to be slower and more methodical. I guess all that to say more for preparedness and reliability than anything else at the moment

    Good idea with the NOCO. I also have a tire repair kit and ARB single compressor from my last one so that's some good peace of mind there too. Along with a bunch of tools, straps, sockets, etc

    Two of my favorite (and fairly inexpensive) mods.

    Center of the front of the motor, there's a black bracket that rubs on a heater / radiator hose. It's the hose with the expandable braided sheathing on it.

    Just the factory ones. Definitely way too slippery for my preferences and I've heard good things about husky liners. Probably front only, I'm not so concerned about the rear liners. Hadn't looked into seat covers yet though.

    More details on the tailgate hose clamp?

    Definitely interested in the hood struts

    Having a portable air pump that uses the car charger or Battery is helpful. Also having an 18 in breaker bar and a deep 21mm socketin case you need to change a tire. I have both.

    Cheap insurance. Hose clamp the right side of the hinge of the tailgate. Makes it harder for someone to easily lift the right corner off and steal it.

    I can't find it either. There a bracket on the front of the engine that rubs a coolant hose. Grind the corner off so it doesn't rub. It's probably a throttle body hose and the bracket might be for the intake plenum. I forget.
