So Dad and I are gonna try and climb Mt Fox on Monday. Its the west Peak by Goose.

Although, with some chainsaw work, a couple logs, a snatch block, and someone else's winch, we could probably swap it on the trail.

 

We went that way last year, didn't go up the saddle. But want to see that area too. I like topping out peaks though, more fun to me. So this will be interesting.

Oh we could do it. I could have an engine crane back there in like half a day haha

 

i will not be swapping a motor on the trail. bench pressing a trans in woods would not be fun

I have bench pressed Brett's trans in a garage before and that was enough fun for me. So I could not imagine doing that on an uneven surface. Just listening to Brett's motor implode on its self during the trip should be adventure enough.

 

Well really we wouldn't have to drop the tranny just unbolt it from the motor. Not that that will be easy without a tone of extensions..but possible. Be a cool feat if done haha

 

I'll dust off the engine and have it ready to mobilize up to Montana....

Forgive the unsightly machine that got me there, but damn there is some scenery around here. Anyone who happens to find themself in the area has to do seven lakes road of union pass, it is a rough sombitch though.
