Swing shift..off in 29 mins... slow night again. Tomorrow night looks busy. Airlift biz is feast or famine as the planes come and go.

    Along those lines.
Last race we were going to screw with the officials in the tower and line up one of the trans am cars with the group 1 cars.. (4 cyl slow). And say that he was identifying as an MG.
Almost got him to do it.. like [] that close..

Major gas line explosion about 75 miles south of us , in Lincoln County. (Danville Ky) Such a huge fire, houses are igniting as much as 1/2 mile away. Local FD is sending truck and crew that way for backing up the small rural FD's.

News (TV) is reporting gas now shut off and fire is diminishing from the ruptured 30" gas line.

1 confirmed fatality. Several people missing.

Buddy at fire house says explosion site is 59 miles from here. At 4:45am, a faint orange glow could be seen in the southeast sky.

    Another nice day.
25 years ago today I started working for Mother Merc. I get a cake, but I have wait till everyone comes back to work. Most people are on layoff this week.
I thought I would not go in today. But no, gotta go to a 2hr mandatory safety training. 99% of it doesn't apply for me. But since I'm part of maintaince I have to go. Just in case.

Everyone have a nice day
