*THE RTT Owners Thread (With BS)*

A BIG mouth 36 ounce Gatorade bottle is standard equipment in my RTT. Just dump it out the window and reuse. Really great after a beer or 12

 

Gatorade bottle or an empty gallon jug should fix this

Someone who's in the medical field brought one of those bottle urinals they use at the hospital for his first time using the rtt at our last camping trip. Same idea as the Gatorade bottle. I don't remember, but I think it has a lid or cap to avoid spills.

 

They have lids but they leak. A Gatorade bottle is a more secure route.

 

Only scary part is when the gatorade bottle doesn't have enough capacity lol

 

Bring an empty container of one of those Tide pods bins from Costco to be safer, I guess.

that is quite the scary half awake/half drunk moment. I just get up and walk down

 

Well, you're a sasquatch...nothing in the forest will mess with you. I, on the other hand, am a normal person whom a bear or unfriendly squatch would gladly munch on for a midnight snack.

 

If you fill one of these up over the course of a night you sir are a champ

 

Holy mother of goats, that's huge lol. I usually just have those normal size wide mouth bois

 

I could see one of those being full in one night. But yeah get one of these and you'll be set

 

Might not be too hard to fill if you drink all the gatorade first lmao

 

This will be my preferred method once my girls have flown the nest.

 

4 person tent? liking the entrance in the back. Does it hang over the back of the truck if turned the other way?

 

I have thought about a funnel and some tubing attached to it running out and away from the truck. I hardly have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, but my wife on the other hand....

Would need to figure out a better solution than a funnel for her though and the she-wee thing..is too flimsy

 

Seems to be a lot of attention paid to this. I just climb down the stairs, do my business and climb back up. It only takes a minute. I suppose if it were raining I’d have to throw on a jacket perhaps. No way would I go in the tent and risk spillage.

From there, it wasn't long before we found ourselves on North Peaks Road - first through the forest, and then through the tree line, making our way up, up, up. Then, there we were, getting high - the road the second highest in all of Idaho - on a beautiful day.
